I'm still here...
Yes, I'm still around. I do have the best of intentions when it comes to my blog, but here's my problem: I have nothing to write about (in my opinion). My days are pretty much the same. I take care of our home, I have no cutesy kid stories to tell you (yet! Maybe one day soon!), my family isn't close by so I can't write about seeing any of them. I just don't feel that I'm giving this blog justice. What do you all think? Do you want to see pieces of my everyday life or just wait until I have actually have something to write about that's exciting? lol I welcome any comments/complaints!

I have the same issue with blogging, too, since I have no children. I have found that I enjoy both reading and blogging about the mundane tasks of daily life. What you are doing, what you are cooking, what you are thinking about, etc. Sometimes, I will go several weeks without blogging because I think/know that my life is rather boring at the moment. But then I realize that everyone's life is so daily and sometimes just blogging about the daily tasks of boring life:-), will really bless and inspire someone. I like to read about daily housework and life at home, because I can relate.:-) So all of that to say-please don't wait to blog until you have exciting stuff to blog about.
Blessings!
Sometimes the seemingly un-exciting things are really fun to read about, so don't get discouraged! And, YES, pictures are always good. I added your blog to my links so I can check in easier now:) Take care and God bless!
Thank you both for the encouragement! I will try and blog more often now, even if it's about supposedly "mundane" things!

Oh yes, please blog about the day-to-day happenings of your life! No one's life is exciting every day---even if they do have children! Sometimes we get the most romantic notions about motherhood! As wonderful as I'm sure it is, most mothers will tell you that it can get monotonous and mundane too. (o:
Reading about the day-to-day happenings inspires me in my home keeping. It feels like a visit with a neighbor over the fence.
I hope you'll blog more often!
Blessings,
