My Current Reading List
Non-fiction:
This Little Church Stayed Home by Gary E. Gilley. So far, this book is very good. It's a tough read in some places, though. I also read the "prequel" to this book, This Little Church Went to Market, which was a sad but very thorough picture of a lot of modern churches today.
Created To Be His Helpmeet by Debi Pearl. I'm only on the third chapter and the Lord has taught me so much through this book. I can't wait to finish the rest!
Fiction:
The Last Sin Eater by Francine Rivers. This book is...different. It's not that I dislike it; it's just "different" from most Christian novels. I hate to keep using that word, but that's the only description I have so far! Hopefully I will have more to say when I finish. :)

Created to be His Helpmeet by Debi Pearl, was a struggle for me. It's not that I don't want to be a helpmeet it's just so counter-culture (good thing) and difficult when my parents relationship was so dysfunctional (not existent, basically). I did not like Sin Eater. I am just learning how to navigate through blogger but my location is http://360.yahoo.com/acbmom23byz
Today was my first visit to your blog. I also love to read. Christian fiction is my favorite. I look forward to visiting again!
I love to read as well. Some good Christian fiction can be found at www.keepersofthefaith.com
What I like is that they reprint fiction from the 1800-1900's and it's not romancy or silly. You can actually glean quite a bit of good Christian character from these old books.
Also their books are VERY inexpensive.
I also liked CTBHHM but my alltime favorite marriage book is 'Are You Serious About Marriage?' from Keepers of the Faith. It is less than $10 and full of Biblical truth. (o:
